     The aura?
     Don¡¯t ask me what is the light      of souls. I cannot describe it      clearly  either. See, it is just      there.

     Objectiveness of viewing
     Forget myself without      standpoint,without prejudice, without feelings. When I¡¯m immersed in the truth of  history, silver oxide particles keep reminding me that there is no need to be persistent in the face of truth.

Doom of viewing
I painted the works with contradiction of viewing for the purpose of being viewed. In the process of painting, I¡¯d always been viewing the people in frames who passed away long time ago, and ¡°peeping at¡± what was happening centuries ago. When those people were watching the man behind the single-hole camera when they used to be as alive as us, do they know that someday they might be watched in an irrelevant way?

Perplex of viewing
Modern human have been able to use effective methods to look into the distant world which is hundreds of millions of light-year away and capture the construction of basic particles in the quantum world, however, we still have perplex in the relation of viewing between two ends of subject.

The falsehood of truth
The truth of photos is too false, because the reality shall not handle the world to human eyes in this way. Transient moments are carefully read; unrepeatable events reappear; people can come into the scene which they cannot witness personally. Those past which once existed has lost the basic essence of truth in the shutter of mechanical eyes.

The truth of falsehood
All images are given the imperial edict of ¡°truth¡± in heart under the name of art and deceive viewers in grand style.

The past life and present life
A century ago, photography was worshiping painting. Today photography has subdued painting. Painting is the past life of photography, or photography is the present life of painting?

World of hasty and casual images
The invention of photography has brought people and world closer in a revolutionary way. At the same time, the overabundance of photography has also spoiled closeness between people and world. Photos are enough to us. We don¡¯t need other things.
